Black flag protests continue in the state against the Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016.
Similar incident occurred on Wednesday, Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chhatra Parishad (AJYCP) activists waved black at Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016.
This time the incident had occurred at Morigaon Bus Stand in Nagaon district when Himanta Biswa Sarma crossed the area.
The protesters also shouted slogans against the Minister and the Bill. A couple of days ago, the Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was shown 'black flags' by anti-Bill activists at Pathsala, Kalomoni etc.
It may be mentioned that, almost all the senior leaders of Assam BJP including CM Sarbananda Sonowal had to face the wrath of public on their way.
