Superstar Shah Rukh Khan turns 54 today and his birthday is nothing short of a grand celebration for his fans who every year gather outside his home at midnight to wish the Bollywood star.
Politicians to stars to sports personalities have wished him on his birthday by leaving him a message on Twitter.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also took to Twitter to wish the Bollywood star. In a tweet, she wrote, “Warmest birthday greetings, Shah Rukh @iamsrk. Wish you good health and all the success in life, my charming brother. We are proud to have you as Brand Ambassador of #Bangla. Keep entertaining us with your films.”
The West Bengal CM, who also shares a very cordial relationship with Khan also wished the superstar in another tweet in Bengali.
“See you at 25th #Kolkata International Film Festival #KIFF2019,” the Chief Minister added in her tweet, shared long with the picture of the two.
Shah Rukh Khan along with other big names of Bollywood will grace the opening of the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival on November 8. The festival will be inaugurated by Banerjee.
Shah Rukh made his debut in Bollywood with Deewana, which released in 1992. He is considered to be one of Bollywood’s most successful romantic heroes. The actor has shared screen space with Bollywood beauties like Kajol, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Karisma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Sushmita Sen, Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan among others in a number of box office hits.
