CAB Won’t be Accepted at any Cost: KMSS

Reacting on Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB), Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi on Friday said that the number of citizens will be changed with the implementation of the CAB.

Addressing a press conference today, Akhil Gogoi said that the government sets to implement CAB without any change and that 1 crore 90lakhs Bangladeshi will come to Assam after its implementation.

Gogoi also said that Assam and Tripura will be worse affected after its implementation.

Slamming BJP and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Gogoi said that they are the representatives of Delhi and urged the Assamese people of the state to protest against CAB if they want to save the state.

The KMSS Chief also urged all the political and non-political organizations to come forward unitedly and stop the government from implementing the contentious bill. “It is not easy to stop CAB from implementing it as there is massive religious insanity and artificial patriotism running in the country. Therefore, the only alternative is to create more awareness and to stand unitedly against the contentious bill,” said Gogoi.

The KMSS also urged the people of the state to be prepared for a real Saraighat.
