In a tragic incident a car feel in Dikhow river at Gaurisagar Dikhowmukh today. The car carrying five persons of the same family allegedly lost control and fell into the river.
Haren Bora was on the driver's seat along with his wife Phunu Bora, mother Punou Bora and two daughters Chimpi Bora and Munmi Bora. Haren Bora was into transport business.
Chimpi Bora was persuing her MBA from NERIM. Munmi Bora was a student of Kendriya Vidlaya. The family resided at a rented house in Guwahati's Jayanagar.
The SDRF team have arrived at the location and the rescue operation is on.
