On Monday, Under the patronage of the District Task Force under Kamrup (M) Administration, District Child Protection Officer, Labour Department and NGO Childline carried out a joint operation at Athgaon in Bharalumukh of Guwahati.
During the operation, the officials managed to rescue at least 11 Child Labourers from the area.
After which, all the Child Labourers had been handed over to the District 'Shishu Suraksha Samitee'.
The labour Department lodged formal FIR against the employers in Bharalumukh Police station.
