Chinese Invader Barb: Tai Ahom youth wing slaps FIR on Garga Chatterjee

Garga Chatterjee, an Assistant Professor, Bengali nationalist and Trinamool Congress (TMC) stooge known for his raving views on Twitter has angered people across Assam this time.

In this connection, a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against the TMC troll by the Tai Ahom Yuva Parishad for his objectionable comments against the founder of Ahom kingdom, Chaolung  Sukaphaa. In order to criticise the Bharatiya Janata Party in Assam, Chatterjee had termed the founder of the Ahom dynasty, Sukaphaa, to that of a ‘Chinese invader’.

The Tai Ahom youth wing registered a complaint at the Kamrup Metropolitan demanding for the immediate arrest of Chatterjee and severe punishment. Such outrageous remarks made by him or any outsider against the Assamese community will not be tolerated, asserted the organization.

In this connection, the organization thanked Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for directing the Assam Police to arrest the Kolkata-based political commentator for allegedly making objectionable comments and bring him to Assam immediately. Sonowal said that Sukapha was the architect of the greater Assamese identity and making derogatory statements about him could not be tolerated.
