In context of the tragic blast incident that took place at Demow chariali in Sivasagar district on Thursday evening, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has strongly condemned the act. miscreants responsible for the killing will not be left scot-free and strictest punishment will be taken against them, read an official statement from CM's office.
The CM reacting on the incident from New Delhi termed the incident as an act of cowardice. He informed that DGP has been directed to take immediate measures to nab the culprits involved in the incident.
The Chief Minister also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family of the deceased.
