Reacting on the Kopili Hydro-power project incident, Bokajan MLA Nomal Momin said that it is very unfortunate and that Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has taken the incident seriously.
Momin said that the Chief Minister has also instructed the Chief Secretary to submit the report of investigation as soon as possible. He further said that if this is the situation then the big dam will create a problem in the future and NHPC will also not be fearless.
Mominalso stated that the incident is not so harmful as the population is less inUmrangso.
Itmay be mentioned that four persons are still feared trapped inside a pump houseand the workers have not yet been rescued.
