Assam Chief Minister SarbanandaSonowal on Thursday condoled the deaths of Excise officials in the mysteriousaccident that took place in Morongi area under Golaghat district. He wishedspeedy recovery of the injured.
CM Sonowal also ordered a probe into the tragic incident, where three excise department officials were killed. He asked Upper Assam Divisional Commissioner Julie Sonowal to initiate the investigation.
It may be mentioned here thatthree excise department officials died after their vehicle mysteriouslycollided with a dumper on Wednesday night. The incident took place over the NH39 in Morongi area near Numaligarh, when the dumper (NL-05-G-1049) crashed intothe vehicle (AS-01-DJ-0801), where the excise department officials weretravelling.
