Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday visited Sarthebari in Barpeta to inspect the flood situation in the district.
Sonowal along with Ministers Bhabesh Kalita, Topon Gogoi and his Media Advisor Hrishikesh Goswami arrived at the office of the Sarthebari Circle Officer to get an overall view of the situation.
According to reports, the CM along with the DC and the circle officers will take stock of the situation of flood in the district.
During the visit, the Chief Minister will also meet with the departmental heads of the varios departments of the district.
Sonowal, also inspected flood relief camps Nalbari and took stock of rescue and relief measures being undertaken in the district. He also interacted with the flood affected, medical staff and officials.
