As the third round of polling is just around the corner, Congress top leaders are busy campaigning and making the last-ditch efforts to win the voters.
Congress's president Ripun Bora, all India Congress Committee general secretary and Congress Working Committee member Hrish Rawat, leader of Opposition in Assembly Debabrata Saikia and Guwahati Congress Candidate Bobbeeta Sharma moved in a huge motorcycle rally in the nook and corner of the town on Sunday.
The rally starts from Manabendra Sarmah playground of Dispur. The rally will head towards Jalukbari via GS Road and again from Jalukbari the rally will reach Geetanagar.
This year, the BJP and Congress have emerged as the key contenders in the constituency. The main contest is likely to be between Oja and Congress' Bobbeeta Sharma.The campaign for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections is scheduled to conclude at 5 pm on April 21st, 2019.
