The toll of people infected by COVID-19 has gone up to 11 in Tihu with another person found to be carrying the contagion today.
The infected person has been identified as Nayan Das of Nathkusi.
Das, as learnt, is a bank employee.
The COVID-19 situation has turned quite grim in the state. The lockdown in Guwahati was recently extended by a week in light of the surge in positive cases.
Similarly, increasing number of cases are being detected in other districts of the state too.
