Assam detected 2698 new coronavirus cases out of 35147 tests done in the last 24 hours, state Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
The Covid positivity rate stands at 7.67 percent, he said.
Out of the 2698 fresh cases, Kamrup M reported 700 cases, Bongaigaon- 190, Lakhimpur- 151 and Kamrup R- 142.
The active cases in the state have touched 30850 while 92717 patients have recovered so far.
