Top officials of the Assam government on Wednesday have tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
VS Bhaskar, Additional Chief Secretary to Hill Areas, Mines and Minerals and Pensions & Public Grievances, has been infected with COVID-19.
S S Meenakshi Sundaram Commissioner & Secretary, Governor of Assam and his family have tested positive for the virus too.
P R Khaund, Secretary of Industries and Transport, Oinam Saran Singh, Managing Director, Assam Industrial Development Cooperation and Isan Bardalai, Additional Secretary, Industries and Commerce, and Rajibuddin Ahmed, Personal Secretary to the Principal Secretary at the Assam Secretariat have been detected with the virus as well.
