The active cases of COVID-19 across the Northeast Region have been escalating gradually, taking the tally to 4097 on Saturday in the eight states.
On Saturday, Assam's active cases stands at 2660, Tripura at 268, Manipur at 682, Arunachal Pradesh at 124, Mizoram at 101, Sikkim at 48 and Meghalaya at 5.
Across the region, 10,505 total cases have been found out of which 6042 cases have recovered and discharged. 4248 cases in Assam has recovered, followed by 1062 cases in Tripura, 393 in Manipur, 162 in Nagaland, 49 in Arunachal Pradesh, 47 in Mizoram, 42 in Meghalaya and 39 in Sikkim.
So far, the recorded death in the entire region is 12, nine in Assam and one each in Tripura, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.
