Assam on Monday reported 70 fresh COVID-19 cases, pushing the active cases to 627.
The new cases have been detected out of 17,605 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 60 patients have been discharged today. The recoveries have touched 2,15,657 with 98.59 per cent.
No death was reported today. The death rate stood at 0.51 per cent with 1,109 deaths.
The state's total caseload as of today is 2,18,740.
