The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headquarters in Guwahati has been closed for two days starting from Tuesday to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The CBI office headquartered at Gorchuk in Guwahati will be closed on June 23 and 24, informed a CBI official. This decision came into effect after an employee's wife who delivered a child on Monday tested positive for COVID19. Both the mother and child are COVID19 positive.
The officials have been ordered to work-from-home and home quarantine them until further notice. The CBI building is sealed and both the office and colony will be sanitized and employees have been asked to maintain social distancing.
