In anincident of dacoity, a driver of a truck carrying FCI's rice was attacked andthen robbed last night in Golaghat's NH no. 39 passing through the Nambor-DoigrungWildlife Sanctuary.
Accordingto reports, dacoits took away cash and mobile phone from the driver.
Thedriver, identified as Pradip Singh, has been seriously injured and is now undertreatment in JMCH.Singh was attackedwhile the truck, with the registration number NL 05 B 4589 was parked near theroad. Reportedly, the group of attackers came in a small vehicle.
