At least two people were killed and three others injured after a four-storey building collapsed in Delhi on Monday night.
According to Delhi Police, two died and three injured in collapse of an under construction building in Seelampur area of North-East Delhi. Reports said that fire department got a call about the incident at around 11.29 pm on Monday.
After the incident has been reported, six fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot, according to a senior Delhi Fire official. According to eye witness, the building collapses while some people were attending an event organized by a local resident on the ground floor. The injured were rushed to the hospital.
However, rescue officials said that several persons are feared trapped in the debris at the site of the incident and that six people have been rescued so far and the rescue operations are underway.
Meanwhile, another incident was reported from Andhra Pradesh on Monday where two people died after a wall of an under-construction building collapsed in Visakhapatnam.
