Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan will meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday to discuss and review the capital city's governance's response to handling the outbreak of the pandemic coronavirus.
Delhi is currently the third worst-hit State/Union Territory with COVID-19 in India. This is the second meeting to be held in the last seven days. The Union Home Minister's Office tweeted on Saturday, the meeting will be attended by the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences and members of the State Disaster Management Authority
The TOP Court blasted the government for a fall in the coronavirus testing and said, "The situation in Delhi is horrendous, horrific, and pathetic. There is a very sorry state of affairs in its hospitals that aren't giving due care and concern to the bodies." The court also sent notices to centre, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.
The total number of positive cases in Delhi stands at 36,824, including 1214 deaths and 13,398 recovered/migrated/discharged.
