In a horrific incident, a husband has been accused of setting his fire on fire in Bokakhat following a personal tussle between the two on Monday night.
Locals have accused the husband of being intoxicated under the influence of alcohol which led to him committing this heinous crime.
The incident occurred in Bokakhat's Kandhulimari village and the accused husband, Sunil Mari, has been arrested by the police.
The wife sustained 75 percent burn to her body and was taken to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital for further treatment.
