Assam Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya on Wednesday said that he is ready to hold discussions with the Assam TET qualified teacher, which are currently demanding regularisation of their jobs.
Speaking to Pratidin Time’s Editor-in-Chief, Nitumoni Saikia, Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya called for a meeting with the leaders of protesting TET qualified teachers at 11 AM on June 28.
Earlier on Tuesday, Minister Bhattacharya announced to extend the validity of their certificates. Participating in Abhimat show of Pratidin Time, the Minister had also said that the TET qualified teachers need not have to reappear in TET examinations. “We have already initiated process to extend the validity of their certificates,” the Minister had said.
