In a sensational incident, the public on Friday night thrashed a person in Super Market area in Guwahati on the charge of alleged job fraud by running a fake recruitment agency.
Identified as Nur Islam Laskar, the fraud had taken several lakhs of rupees from people in Nalbari, Mukalmua and Barpeta area in lieu of providing lucrative jobs in Dubai. He hails from Silchar.
Laskar was also beaten by up the agitated group of people.Later, Dispur Police reached the spot after which the public handed over thealleged fraud to the Police.
