A fraudulent film director has been detained by the Chandmari Police on accusations of taking money from artists.
The alleged director named Hiranya Pathak has been accused of taking money from several youths with the promise of giving them a chance to act in films.
Reportedly, he collected five thousand to ten thousand from every youth with the assurance of a golden future. The youths have alleged him of collecting lakhs of money from such aspiring actors.
