The eighth death anniversary of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika has also been observed at Mira Road in Mumbai by organizing a memorial meeting.

Senior citizen Madan Bhuyan inaugurated the cultural meet by payingtribute to the legendary singer. Founder General Secretary of the meeting NayanJyoti Bhuyan, while welcoming the gathering had briefed about Hazarika'scontribution towards the society and for the people of the country as well.
The main aim of the meeting is to make the young generation aware ofHazarika's great work that he had done for the society through his songs.
The children have also performed on Hazarika's songs like 'Pasalir Bagicha', 'Aah aah ulai aah Sajag Janata' etc. with much enthusiasm and fervour.
The death anniversary of Dr. Hazarika has been observed by performingwith his number of songs by youth singers.
