Police on Sunday arrested three dacoits involved in a number of loot cases including the Juria dacoity case.
The arrested have been identified as Furkan Ali, Billal Uddin and Umor Faruqe.
Furkan Ali was the prime accused of the dacoity case.
In the wee hours of Sunday, a gang of dacoits entered in a house and shot dead a woman as well as looted jewelleries and Rs 10 lakh at Bogoriguri in Juria.
The deceased has been identified as Haspina Begum.
After the incident took place, Superintendent of Police along with administration and police official of Nagaon district visited the spot and started investigation with the help of clues.
A case (No 367/18) have been registered at the Juria Police Station u/s-396 IPC R/w sec 25(1)a/27 Arms Act.
