The Regional Manager of the State Bank of India (SBI) has decided which branches of the bank will be kept open for public transactions during the lockdown period.
All the branches in the city will remain close except the following branches:
As per the Assam Government order under Assam State Disaster Management Authority vide their letter no. ASDMA 24/2020/Part-1/76 dated 26/06/2020, there will be total lockdown in all the areas under Komrup Metropolitan District. As per the above order only 10(ten)%of Bank branches in the District with skeletal attendance and ATMS shall operate. Therefore, It has been decided by the competent authority that all the branches will remain close except the following 4(Four) numbers of Branches: (i) Guwahati Medical College Branch (ii) Maligaon Branch (iii) Assam Secretariat Branch (iv) Guwahati Airport.
Chief Managers/Branch Manager of all branches that will remain close in the lockdown are advised to put the arrangement in place. The staff not attending office can be used to follow PAPL leads and other digital products from home and to update the same in CRM, once they attend office, the order stated.
