In an operation launched by the Government Railway police force (GRPF) at Guwahati Railway station, three kilograms of gold have been seized from Rajdhani Express and arrested on person in connection to it.
The arrested person has been identified as Sonai Mog. Police said that the person was smuggling the gold from Manipur to New Delhi.
Police also informed that the value of the gold is around Rs. 1crore and that it was being carried on the handle of a briefcase and in the laptop replacing the battery.
