A clarification has been issued by the Government of Assam on Sunday, where the state government denied the reports that it has decided to stop filling up grade IV posts and outsource them.
State Finance Department’s Principal Secretary clarified that “This is entirely baseless and these news items are factually incorrect. In fact, in the budget speech during Budget 2018-19, the Finance Minister emphasised that Government has been very liberal in creation of additional posts/filling up of vacancies. From May 2016 till March 2018, total 3711 Grade IV posts have been filled up.”
“It is important to mention that from April 2018 till date, Finance Department has accorded approval for filling up 318 Grade – IV posts in different Departments. General public is requested not to get carried away by such baseless news items.” – He added.
