As many as four police personnel have tested positive for COVID-19. The police personnel are from Panbazaar Police Station. They were identified as Puspa Rani Das, Heramba Kalita, Dandi Kumar, and Sohidul Islam Talukdar.
In view of the rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in and around Panbazaar Police Station and in keeping with the level of alertness being maintained in the organisation, ADCP (Admn) Guwahati, Kamrup (M) directed the Officer/Staff who might have come in contact with the said persons in the office or outside, should immediately self-quarantine themselves duly taking precautionary measures and intimate to the same to this office.
The ADCP also wrote to In-Charge, Sarusajai Health Screening Camp to make necessary arrangements to conduct swab tests and further proceedings to contain the spread of Covid-19.
