Guwahati hosted the fourth edition of the Pinkathon on Sunday. The marathon witnessed an immense support and participation of more than four thousand women in the early hours of the day.
The run began from Veterinary Hospital Ground in Khanapara which was organised into three levels. Women from various age groups were seen participating in 10 km, 5 km and 3 km marathon.
The marathon was organised supporting women empowerment, health and security .
Like all other previous Pinkathons, Brand Ambassador Milind Soman flagged off the event, which started from Khanapara via ganeshguri and ended at the Khanapara Veterinary ground.
The Pinkathon was first run in 2012, which is India’s Biggest women’s run. It is an initiative of the United Sisters Foundation and organised by Maximus Mice and Media Solutions Pvt Ltd.
