India may try Khaleel as 3rd seamer against WI

Team India may include rookie fast bowler  Khaleel Ahmed as the third seamer  when they taken on West Indies in the first one day of the 5 match ODI series.

Lanky left arm pace bowler had impressed the team management of team India and he was sure to be included in the main XI as captain Virat Kohli and Coach Ravi Shashtri was trying to build the nucleus of the World Cup 2019 to be played over the green pitches of Australia.

The new pace sensation of team India Khaleel Ahmed was highly recommended by Zaheer Khan after the left-arm pace sensation impressed India's most successful pace bowler in domestic cricket and in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

This morning interacting with the press, he said he was quite excited about the match. "I am satisfied about the weather and pitch. I have got the opportunity for my left-arm pace bowling and bouncer. Senior Cricketer Zaheer Khan helped me in IPL. After playing in IPL session, I managed to show my talent and now I am getting opportunity to prepare myself for upcoming World Cup." – Khaleel said.

Khaleel worked with Zaheer Khan during his playing time with Delhi Daredevils.

Earlier, during a press conference Rohit Sharma said about Khaleel that "I'm quite excited about the 20-year old left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed. He's a great variation to the squad. But also, you know, he generates quite a bit of pace. He is young, quite talented and can swing the ball at the same time,"

"Looking forward to him playing and doing well for the country. Whatever I have seen of him, he can get the batsman into trouble, great skill set. It's just a matter of going out there and doing it. He's got all the tools to be required to play at the highest level," he further said.
