Patidar leader Hardik Patel, who recently joined the Congress, was slapped today by a man while he was addressing an election rally in Gujarat's Surendranagar.
Hardik Patel was delivering a speech in Gujarati when suddenly a burly man walked up to the stage, hurled a few choicest abuses and slapped him.
The man then pushed Hardik Patel a few times before people intervened. A video of the incident has been tweeted by news agency ANI.
In the video, the man can be seen shouting angrily at Hardik Patel after slapping him and trying to manhandle him.
