Road communications are also known as the backbone of the development of a society. But now Assam had to stop for a while because of the road conditions in several places of the state.
A horrific landslide has been taken place in various parts of the Gohpur-Arunachal Pradesh connecting NH-415 from the last 3/4 months and now it had reached the worst condition. Due to the landslide, one side of the 4 lane has completely eroded and the rest part also not safe for more days.
It has been suspected that the rest part will also be eroded anytime and it will cause dangerous road accidents. It may be stated that the locals of the region have been requesting the department and also to the government for maintenance of the road but despite knowing the condition of the road, no one have come forward to take initiative in this regard.
