Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta on Tuesday said that containment zones are to be announced in places where the number of Covid-19 cases is increasing.
Health Minister Mahanta said, "The government will make arrangements to ensure that the common man is not harassed in this process."
Those schools where the positive cases are high among teachers and students will be declared as Containment zone, said Keshab Mahanta.
Further, the minister also expressed his concern over the loss due to Covid-19. He said, "Normal life disrupted in two years due to Covid."
"Government to fight against Covid-19 without disrupting normal life," added Keshab Mahanta.
