Sprint Queen Hima Das blames 2-3 persons of Assam for the pressure created on her and she blamed that was the reason for her problems in 200M event.
Through a Facebook live, she requested people of Assam to behave responsibly so it did not create pressure on her. She went live to make the point. Perhaps she is the first athlete to do so as over adulation and idiotic pressure back home over ambitious politicians have caused a flutter back at Jakarta.
She clearly said that although she wanted to stay away from all the pressure but act of 2-3 persons did create problem for her and that had hampered her in 200m.
She also said that how she had been affected would be told by her personal coaches after her return. Both the coaches Nipon Das and Nabajit Malakar also appeared on the Facebook live and requested people of Assam to give Hima peace of mind.
This is quite embarrassing as wannabe politicians, media zealots are working overtime to create pressure on Hima by over adulation as the rest of people of Assam haplessly watched the madness.
A proposal to erect a statue of Hima at Dhing was savagely criticised over Twitter and other Social Media platforms as Assam Minister Keshav Mahanta announced erection of a statue of her.
