BJP leader Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma today advised Congress to give a descent retirement to Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
When asked what would be the advise he would like to give to the grand old party Congress after the second consecutive emphatic win of BJP, Dr Sharma said that party should retire Dr Gandhi.
This is noteworthy that not only Dr Sharma was credited with the win of BJP and the NEDA in the North East India but also of neighbouring West Bengal, where he has campaigned vigorously .
The BJP gave Mamata’s Trinamool a tough fight and wrested as many as 18 seats. The West Bengal had just two seats in the outgoing Lok Sabha.
Dr Sharma, although denied to contest Lok Sabha election, is expected to be rewarded by the party high command making him the Deputy Chief Minister of the State.
