With terrorist outfit Hizbul Mujahideen making headlines in Assam, shocking details of the outfit in 'Assam Connection' have even stunned the police of the state.
It has come to light that the Assam cadres of the militant outfit were planning for a 26/11 like catastrophe in Assam. It would have turned into a reality if not for Kanpur ATS, who arrested Kamruz Zaman last week.
Hojai Court has sent three Hizbul Mujahideen cadres, namely Riyaz Uddin, Baharul Islam and Jainal Ahmed into police custody for a period of seven days.
It may be mentioned that till now seven members of the terrorist outfit have been arrested. Hojai Police has released the list of the arrested members of the outfit.
