Increasing waters sweep away two families in Chabua

The incessant rains have only added to the woes of the people of Assam. In one such incident, five houses have been swept away by the increasing waters of the Brahmaputra in Chabua.

The incident has taken place in the town’s Dodhia which along with the houses has swept away two families including an eight month old baby.

Although, local residents were successful in rescuing the families, they are still in Dodhia devoid of treatment.

Not only increasing waters, rains, heavy winds has also left trail of destruction in the area.
