India win Pink Ball Test to sweep series
India on Sunday defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 46 runs on the third day of their first-ever Day-Night Test in Kolkata’s Eden Gardens to clinch the two-match series 2-0.
With this victory, India won seven Tests in a row for the first time. This is also the third straight time India completed a series whitewash after defeating West Indies 2-0 and South Africa 3-0. India also become the first team to register four consecutive Test wins by an innings margin.
Meanwhile, Ishant Sharma won the Man of the Match award.
