AnIndo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawan died after he fell from sixth floor ofthe unit hospital at the Games Village at NH 37 near Basistha Chariali.
The jawan identified as Maniram was the constable of 33 No Battalion of the ITBP. Maniram, who was from Madhya Pradesh, was undergoing treatment for blood pressure in the hospital of ITBP.
Meanwhile,Basistha police is investigating into the incident and the body of the deceasedhas been sent for post-mortem.
