Airtel showed some improvement in the speed from 8.2 Mbps to 8.3 Mbps in September.
Vodafone’s download speed has also decreased to 6.9Mbps in September from 7.7 Mbps in August.
On the other hand, Idea is leading the upload speed with 5.4Mbps, followed by Vodafone at 5.2Mbps during the same month.
Airtel and Reliance Jio recorded 4.2 and 3.1Mbps speed, respectively.
Meanwhile, the state-run telecom operator BSNL recorded 2.7 Mbps speed in 3G speed in September. BSNL is followed by Vodafone Idea with1.9 Mbps, and Airtel network recorded a 3G download speed of 1.5 Mbps. TRAI calculates average download speed every month, with the help of its MySpeed application.
