Police on Tuesday night busted an illegal counterfeit note business in Borghuli of Kaliabor.
Three persons were arrested in connection to the case and seized the counterfeit note making machine that was used to print the fake notes.
The accused were identified as Atiqul Islam, a native of Lakhimpur, Mojibur Rahman and Rojibul Haque from Borghuli itself.
Large amount of fake counterfeit notes were also seized.
A raid was conducted in Mojibur Rahman's house upon receiving a tip-off where the business was operating from.
