Ahead of the publication of final NRC, a Muslim man was attacked by a mob in Karimganj district on the suspicion of Bangladeshi terrorist.
He was beaten up mercilessly before being handed over to the police. The victim has been identified as Hasim Uddin from Tripura.
The incident took place at Karimganj Railway station.
