The Cricket World Cup is finally back again after a long wait of 4 years. The ICC World Cup is scheduled to start on May 30 in England.
Two-time world champions India is gearing up hard to win the tournament as they have quite a strong squad in place and are desperate to win the trophy.
Ahead of the team’s flight to England, today the team India skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri addressed the media. Kohli said that the Indian team is fully prepared for the challenge.
Kohli answered questions on various topics ranging from Kedar Jadav’s injury to Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal who are the most important pillars of the team’s bowling unit.
On the other hand, Ravi Shastri said that MS Dhoni is someone whose communication has been fantastic with Virat and is a big player in the World Cup.
However, the “Men in Blue” will not be making any changes of the team as the ICC deadline on making changes expires on May 23.
India is scheduled to play two warm-up matches before they begin their match against South Africa on June 5 at Southampton.
