The fiery spells of Krishna Das have always been cheered in Assam. The lanky lad from Barpeta has been one of the best fast bowlers to have ever played for Assam and his form in the last few years has been mesmerizing. However, the scenes were a little different today at the familiar Barsapara Ground for Krishna Das. Early morning, he was bowling another blazing spell of fast bowling but he was playing against his home state Assam representing Goa in the 7th round of Ranji Trophy 2018-19.
Krishna Das took the wickets of Biplab Saikia and Sibsankar Roy in back to back overs to put Goa in a commanding position at 60-4. Assam finished their 1st innings at 175-10 in 50.2 overs. At the end of 1st day’s day, Goa could manage 66-3 in their 1st innings with all 3 wickets dismissed by Arup Das.
Earlier this year, Krishna Das had joined Goa as a professional cricketer for the 2018-19 season.
