Filing of nominations for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections will end today. In the second phase, that is on April 18, 97 constituencies will go polling.
Voting will take place in all 39 parliamentary constituencies of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka 14 seats, Maharashtra 10 seats, Uttar Pradesh 8, Assam, Bihar and Odisha 5 seats each, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal 3 each, Jammu and Kashmir 2 each, and Manipur, Tripura and Puducherry 1 seat each.
The scrutiny is scheduled to take place on March 27, while March 29 is set as the last date for withdrawal of candidature.
