It was only few days earlier that Congress had announced its first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha Polls and on Wednesday it has released its second list consisting of 21 candidates, out of which five are from Maharashtra and the others from Uttar Pradesh.
In the list, Raj Babbar and Priya Dutt have found a place to represent Moradabad and Mumbai North-Central respectively. Senior leader and former Union minister Sriprakash Jaiswal has been fielded from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
As a whole, the party has declared 27 candidates from Uttar Pradesh, which is crucial.
Priya, daughter of actor turned politician Sunil Dutt will field against Poonam Mahajan of BJP. On the other hand, Babbar will go against, a five-time BJP legislator, Kunwar Sarvesh Singh.
Some of the other members finding name in the list are Nana Patole from Nagpur, Milind Murli Deora from Mumbai south, Lalitesh Pati tripathi from Mirzapur, Rakesh Sachan from fatehpur, Sriprakash jaiswal from Kanpur.
