Lumding on Tuesday reported the third death of COVID-19. The deceased has been identified as Uma Dey (60).
She was admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) since July 28. She was also suffering from cancer for many days.
Notably, the official toll of COVID-19 in the state reached 109 after four deaths have been reported on Monday.
The state reported 45275 cases of the pandemic while 32383 patients have recovered. The state has now 12779 active cases.
