In an incident of shameful vulgar behavior, a man was arrested by Jorhat police for masturbating in front of a girls' hostel and harassing them repeatedly with his activities.
The incident came to light after a video of him flashing his genitals while stimulating it for sexual pleasures in broad daylight in front of the hostel went viral.
The culprit has been identified as one Sumit Kumar Das of Garmur Srimantapur under Jorhat P.S. Das was on the run since the video became viral on Facebook and was later arrested.
During Police interrogation, he admitted his guilt. Police is continuing further investigation and strong legal action will be taken against the culprits involved in the crime.
